Mr. Lonnie Maurice Holcomb, age 73, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at his residence.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 2 o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Ken Gillilan and Bro. Lynn Sharpton officiating. Interment will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be on Thursday evening, May 16, 2024, from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Holcomb was born in Alabama on February 6, 1951, to Cecil & Willie Mae Fortson Holcomb. He retired as parts manager for automobile dealerships most recently at Sand Mountain Toyota.
Mr. Holcomb is survived by his Wife: Kathy Holcomb of Boaz, Sons: Jon & Kaitlyn Holcomb of Boaz and Joshua & Brittany Holcomb of Arab, Daughters: Kimberly Holcomb of Rainbow City and Kelly & Jamie Harper of Gadsden, Grandchildren: Maddox Holcomb, Mylie Harper, Brayden Harper, Dakota Elliott and Harrison Jon Holcomb, Brothers: Gerald Holcomb of Boaz and Richard Holcomb of Albertville, Sister: Glenda Shields of Boaz and special friends: Mark Brickey and Gary Whitefield. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Cecil & Willie Mae Holcomb.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Holcomb, Jason Holcomb, Barry Holcomb, Drake Holcomb, Hunter Holcomb, and Jamie Harper. Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Sand Mountain Toyota.
