Lonnie Golden Long, 86, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at NMMC in Tupelo . He was born November 11, 1926 to the late Lonnie Long Sr. and the late Susie Hughes Long. He enjoyed hunting. fishing, and he was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by 3 Sons – Lannie Long of Sardis, Larry Long of Grenada, Randy Long of Tuscaloosa; Daughter – Angie (Roy) Cork of Tuscaloosa; 3 step-sons – Albert Valentine Jr. of Nettleton, Terry (Sharanda) Valentine, George (Renee) Valentine of Purvis; 6 step-daughters – Juanita Valentine of Tupelo, MS, Doris (Curtis) Oliver of Petal, Linda (Cheyenne) Pitts, Barbara (Barry) Drennan, Brenda Gladden of Tuscaloosa, Renee Daw of Tuscaloosa; Brother – Vernon (Jan) Long of Memphis, TN; Sister – Dorothy Stewart of Memphis, TN.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Lonnie Long Sr., Mother, Susie Long, and a daughter.
