Lonnie Calvin Taylor “Tater”, age 53 of Nauvoo, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his residence.
Lonnie was born December 8, 1966. He attended Cross Haven Church where he and his wife, Tammie were youth ministers.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his Father-George Taylor, Sr.; Mother-Johnnie “Faye” Amerson Jenkins; Dad-William “Ronal” Jenkins; Brother-George Taylor, Jr.; Grandparents-Johnny and Willie Amerson, Griffin and Nora Taylor.
Lonnie is survived by his Wife of 35 years-Tammie Traweek Taylor; 3 Sons-Justin Taylor (Crista), Joseph Taylor (Jessica) and Noah Taylor; Sisters-Connie Taylor and Cindy LeFan (Johnny); Sister-in-law-Deb Taylor; Brothers-Jeff Taylor (Brenda), Scott Taylor (Audrey), Michael Jenkins, Randall Jenkins (Wendy) and William Jenkins, Jr.; 4 Grandchildren-Kinlen, Rhylee, Gatlin and Kortlen; A host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Cross Haven Church, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Edgil Grove Cemetery. Dennis Farley will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Justin Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Noah Taylor, Cody King, Riley Goforth and Hunter Bates.
