Funeral services for Mr. Lon “Brad” Bradford Lett Jr., age 77, will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2024 in the Oak Grove Methodist Church near Edison. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at Oak Grove Methodist Church from 2 PM until service time.
Mr. Lett passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at his home. He was a quality engineer at the Milan Arsenal for 40 years, member of the Gideon’s International, a deacon in the Church at Sugar Creek and a US Army and National Guard veteran serving for 26 years.
In his spare time, Mr. Lett enjoyed hunting, gardening and traveling along with spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Lett; and parents, Lon Bradford Lett Sr. and Clara Sappington Lett.
Mr. Lett is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Lett, Susan Lett Gonzales (John Mark) and Jennifer Lett Milam (Jeff); a sister, Evelyn Lett Wilson; seven grandchildren, Matthew Schwarz (Terra), Mitchell Somers (Megan), Kyle Somers, Anna Smith (Kyle), Johnnie Gonzales (Stephen), Hannah Milam Bishop (Shane) and Jackson Milam; and nine great grandchildren, Jon Matthew Schwarz, Matilyn Wray Schwarz, Albert Somers, Mariana Smith, Vada Smith, Jacoby Jarnigan, Ava Gonzales, Zeke Maitland and Tyler Bishop.
