Funeral services for Mrs. Lola Jones Martin, age 91, are scheduled for 4:00 PM Tuesday, February 10th in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lexington Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin, a retired beautician was the daughter of the late Rev. Dorsey L. and Ollie Mae Veteto Jones. She was a member of the Stringtown Pentecostal Church that her father founded and led a very active life. Some of the things she enjoyed in life were: the Henderson County Fair, her flowers, birds and her ministry to people.
She is survived by her two sons by blood: Nick Martin and his wife Jennifer of Brentwood, Michael Martin and his wife Karen of Reagan; and her son by love, Woody Jones of Savannah; two grandsons: Chandler and Chase Martin and a brother, John Allen Jones of Marietta, GA. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her 5 brothers: Attis Jones, Rev. Earl Jones, Rev. Nathaniel Jones, D.L. Jones and Chummy Jones and a sister, Gladys Snider.
