Lola Harris passed away on October 15, 2024 at age 91. The Funeral Service, conducted by Pastor Ron Pulley, is 12 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery will follow the service. Pallbearers: Richard Saddler, Keith Saddler, Matt Polk, Floyd Gaddis, Gabe McKinney, and Carl Jones. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. -12 p.m.
Lola Grace Truitt Harris was born in Statesville TN to Jenny Driver Truitt and Joe Turney Truitt. She married Charlie Harris and set out to be the ultimate homemaker. There was always something to do around the house, so her hands were never idle. She was an excellent cook so her family was well fed. She enjoyed working in the yard and tending her flowers. Embroidery work gave her great satisfaction.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her daughter Linda Fannin and several beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charlie Harris; grandson Rob Fannin, parents Jenny and Doc Truitt, brother Nelson Truitt, and sister Leora Davenport.
