Lola Faye Childress ParksLola Faye Childress Parks, 79, of Nashville, Tennessee peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on December 24, 2023. Faye is survived by her children Jimmy Wright, Judy Wright Marth (Matthew), and Cathy Wright Dutton (Dean); her beloved grandchildren Elizabeth Howard (Miles), Heather Edenfield (Ken), Linda Voils, Mallory Dutton, and Audey Marth; her great grandchildren Logan Hyde, Sadie Voils, Grayson Edenfield, Krislyn Edenfield, and Kameron Edenfield; her sisters Joann Davis, Sandra Tiller, and Norma Clifft (Sam); and nieces and nephews. Faye was preceded in death by her parents Amos and Zelma Childress, her brothers Thomas and James Childress, and her sister Peggy Spears.

Faye was born in Wales, Tennessee on June 16, 1944 and graduated from Campbellsville High School in 1962. Faye loved watching Major League Baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. She also enjoyed southern cooking, NFL games, reading, working puzzle books, card games, gardening, and caring for her many indoor plants with her fabulous green thumb.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at Bennett-May with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
