Lola Carolyn Lawler Hillis, age 91, of Florence, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024. A graveside service will be Wednesday, October 2nd at 3:00 pm at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mattie Lawler; husband, Garman Willie “G.W” Hillis; son, G.W. Hillis, Jr.
Survivors are her children, Jo Carol Price, Jay Hillis (Janie), and Angela Wallace (Wayne); sisters, Betty Mitchell and Elaine Gandy; grandchildren, Karen (Jason), Kim (Joel), Andrea (Rodney), Amy (Hollis), Andrew (Sydney), Nathan, and Austin; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Carolyn was a member of Faith Church.
