Lola BrownLola Brown, 93, of Ripley peacefully passed away after a long duration of Alzheimers’s Tuesday, February 27 at Ripley Healthcare and Rehab.  Visitation will begin at 1 PM Saturday at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley with funeral services to follow at 2 PM.  Interment will be in Lightfoot Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown was a homemaker.  She was also known as “Happy” because she was always radiating happiness with a smile and full of Love.  She loved to laugh and her family meant the world to her.

The widow of Benjamin Brown, she is survived by a daughter Peggy D. Gross of Ripley; 2 grandchildren Christopher A. Ferrer, Sr. of Ripley and Melissa D. Hellums of Southaven, MS; and 6 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a grandson Benjamin O. Ferrer.
