Lois W. Allen, 91, died Monday, July 1, 2024 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA. She was born in Vina, AL to Jim Wilson and Viola Barksdale Wilson and was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 5, 12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Scott Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her children, Randy Allen, Jimmy Allen, Tommy Allen (Betty), Judy Turpin, Regina Sheets, Jeffery Allen, Michelle LaMarque (Dean) and Kim Goforth (Jeff); twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Allen, her parents, brothers and sisters, Gertha Cole, Leonard Wilson, William Wilson, Lorene Traves and Dorothy Brown and a grandson, Jesse Allen.
Pallbearers will be Bradly McCollum, Gavin Sitton, Cody Tupin, Kevin Allen, Jacob Reno and Josh Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Grady McCollum and Donny Holland.
Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 10-12 at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
