Lois Olean Taylor, 98, Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, October 20, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Scott Livingston officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Lois was a native of Frankfort, where she attended Rock Creek School. She spent most of her life in Tuscumbia, where she enjoyed gardening. Lois was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Hughes; sister, Lorene Willis and brother-in-law, Charles E. Willis; niece, Charlotte Willis Chesteen; and husbands, Cletus Borden and J.C. Taylor.
Lois is survived by her nephews, Kenneth Willis (Sandy), Jerald Willis (MaryAnn), and Miles Willis (Anita); niece, Carolyn Smallwood; great-nephews, Ashley Smallwood, Doug Willis (Krista), Zach Chesteen, and Donny Willis (Lisa); great-nieces, Hope Willis, SaDonna Willis, Michelle Wise (Dan), and Lindsey Bevis; great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces, Austin Smallwood, Tre Wise, Desiree Willis, Devan Willis, Darby Willis, Bailey Wilkerson, Savanna Bretherick, and Celee Bretherick; and great-great-great-niece, Eleanor Wilkerson.
Pallbearers will be Donny Willis, Miles Willis, Devan Willis, Kenneteh Willis, Doug Willis, and Zach Chesteen.
