Lois Lovelace – Obituary

loisLois Lovelace passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Limestone Health Facility in Athens. She was born July 22, 1920, to Daniel and Elizabeth Pace. Mrs. Lovelace was a homemaker. Her passion in life was teaching Bible stories to children and teaching Sunday school. She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Lovelace was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. “Jake” Lovelace; one daughter, Emily Beth (infant); one son, J. Steve Lovelace.

She is survived by her two sons, Mark Lovelace and Tim Lovelace(Cyndi), both of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 26, 2015, at noon at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Lovelace and Dr. Rob Jackson officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until noon at the funeral home with burial in Decatur City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Baptist Church Library or Nations of Coaches.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
