A Celebration of Life service for Lois L. Blakney Shults, 77 of Corinth, MS will be Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 A M at Farmington Baptist Church with interment to follow at Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Tim Nall will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2019 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home and Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00 A M until service time at Farmington Baptist Church. Mrs. Shluts passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at her residence in Corinth, MS. She was born October 9, 1941 in Burnsville, MS to Lester C. Blakney and Ruby Mae Holder Blakney. She was a member of Farmington Baptist Church and loved crossword puzzles, reading and music concerts. Lois is survived by her husband of 56 years, James N. Shults of Corinth, MS; her sons, James Brian Shults (Kim) of Germantown, Ohio and Jonathan Wayne Shults (LeAnne) of Hendrson, Nevada; 5 grandchildren, Kayleigh Serena Shults, Shayleigh Lauryn Shults, Elijah McLain Shults, Isaac O’Neal Shults and Carrolee Evelyn Shults; her brothers, Lester C. Blakney, Jr. (Francis) of Iuka, MS, Travis Earl Blakney (Elsie) of Glen, MS, James Ray Blakney (Donia) of Iuka, MS, Jerry Thomas Blakney (Donna) of Iuka, MS and Chester W. Blakney (Brenda) of Corinth, MS; his sisters, Laura Faye Emmons of Selmer, TN, Linda Jean Davis (Wayne) of Burnsville, MS, Dorothy Marie Lambert of Cairo, MS and Mary Elizabeth Taylor (Rex) of Rienzi, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester C. Blakney; her mother, Ruby Mae Holder Blakney; her brothers, Charles D. Blakney and Eddie Joe Blakney and her sister, Betty Catherine Hutson. Pallbearers will be Kyle Barnes, Korey Barnes, Tim McGee and Keith Blakney. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lois L. Blakney Shults.
