Lois Jeanette Anderton, age 78, of Forestdale, passed away on August 28, 2024. She is survived by her daughter Lynette Brasher, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Grady and Pauline Skinner, six siblings, her son Darrin Anderton, grandson Steven Riley, granddaughter Brittney Anderton and great granddaughter Raven Riley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, New Horizon Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery in Cordova.
Lois was a Church of God of Prophecy pastor for 16 years; she was manager of Jack’s for 17 years before opening her own business A & R Cleaning. She always put God and her children before anything else. She was loved by many.
