Lois Jean Warren of Pulaski passed away Saturday morning, December 10th, 2016, at her home. She was born in Kermit, West Virginia on February 26th, 1941 and was 75 years old. Affectionately known as “Mama Jean” she was a member of the Shores Baptist Church. Mama Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend and inspiration to all those around her. For years, everyone could remember her smiling face as she interacted with customers at the Han-D-Way Market, Hilltop Grocery, and A.J.’s One Stop all on the Minor Hill Hwy. She was a source of happiness and guidance to all of those around her.
Visitation will be 1 o’clock until 5 o’clock Sunday, December 11th, 2016, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 12:00pm Monday, December 12, 2016, in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with B.J. Shelton and Dale Myers officiating.
The burial will follow in the Shores Memorial Garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hercle Brewer, Edna Evans Brewer, and brother, Joseph Brewer along with her husband Irvin Gale Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years C.W.Warren of Pulaski.
Daughters, Edna (Bill) Luna of Pulaski and Rhonda (Dennis) Kimbrough of Prospect.
Grandchildren, Ashley Kimbrough of Prospect. Whitney (Chris) Kimbrough of Prospect. Jodie (Owen, II.) Lewter of Dellrose. Jenny (Peyton) Newton of Pulaski.
Two-step grandchildren: Kelly Dodd and Chad Luna.
Great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Dawn and Hunter Kimbrough, John Robert Kimbrough, Addie Jo, Bo, and Harbor Lewter, and Saylor Newton.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
