Lois Jean Olive Whitehead, Iron City, TN, was born September 10, 1943 in Florence, AL, the daughter of the late Hubert Howard and Frankie Pearl Purser Olive. Ms Whitehead, a former employee of Collinwood Manufacturing, was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee. She departed this life, Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her home at the age of 73 Years, 2 Months, 3 Days.
Survivors, a son, Randell Whitehead and wife, Jennifer and a daughter, Gayla Whitehead all of Iron City, TN; grandchildren, Andrew and Adrianna Whitehead and Nicole Crews; a grt-grandchild, Hayes Crews; brothers, Bobby Olive, Michigan, Rickey Olive, Colorado, Michael Olive, Alabama; sisters, Shirley Pigg, Iron City, TN, Annette McWilliams, Collinwood, TN, Diane Rader and Kathy Liles both of Louisiana, Marcie Stults, Florence, AL and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ms Whitehead was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Lee Whitehead; brothers, Billy, James and Donald Olive.
Services will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Bobby Rich officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
