Graveside service for Lois Irene Hamby Martin, 91, of Decatur, will be today, December 6, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens with Gary Patton officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Martin, who died Monday, December 4, 2017, was born May 2, 1926, in Lawrence County to Robert Hamby and Elmeade Hood Hamby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Martin; one brother and six sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Diane Wade; and one granddaughter, Michelle L. Wade.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley or the Alzheimer’s Association.
