Lois Evelyn Ayers, age 70 of the Moreland Community, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at Cullman Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 7, 1954 to Johnie and Vernice Hill Colburn.
Family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church in Moreland, where a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Jack Armstrong, Larry Shifflit, and Johnie Ayers will officiate.
Lois is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bobby Ray “Popcorn” Ayers; sons, Johnie (Susie) Ayers and Damian (Melinda) Thompson; grandchildren, Hugh (Kayla) Harper, Nikki (Isaac) Bright, Whitney (Jake) Wigginton, Nevaeh Ayers, Josie Ayers, Marcus (Olivia) Thompson, Brooklyn England, Courtney (Krissy) McLemore, and Austin Feltman; great grandchildren, Olivia Bright, Adalee-Mae Harper, Ashton Feltman, Alijah Feltman, Jaxon Nichols, Ryleigh Wigginton, Kyler Thompson, Kayden Thompson and Jaxon Lee Franklin Pelt; brother, Horace (Bonnie) Colburn; best friend, Cindy (Larry) Shifflet; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, friends are respectfully encouraged to make a memorial contribution in Lois’ honor to the New Home Baptist Church in Moreland.
