Lois Ann Gigandet, age 69 of Boaz passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at Dekalb Regional Medical Center.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
She is survived by her husband; Eugene Gigandet, son; Paul Gigandet, daughter; Michelle Barnhill (Shane) and grandchildren; Austin Gigandet, William Deveaux, Corey Gigandet, Tori Gigandet and Hannah Higginbotham, four great-grandchildren, sisters; Kathy Laney and Donna Sadler and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by parents; James and Lorean St. John, sister; Rita Drake and son-in-law; David Higginbotham.
