Lois Ann Bass Floyd, age 85 of Decherd, passed away on April 23, 2023, in Fayetteville. She was born on March 3, 1938, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bass. Alongside her husband George, they owned and operated George Floyd Paint Center for many years. When she was not working, you could find her gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lois was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bass, husband; George Wesley Floyd Jr., sons; Ricky Floyd and Tracy Floyd, brother; Buddy Bass, and sister; Bettye Floyd. She is survived by her son; David (Denise) Floyd, grandchildren; Tara Hatchett, Jeremy (Patricia) Floyd, Jacob (Kristen) Floyd, great-grandsons; Trace Floyd and Parker Floyd. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 11am at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Bro. Tony Etheridge officiating.
