Lloyd Nolan Jackson Lloyd Nolan Jackson, 82, of Muscle Shoals, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 13, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Ben Hayes and Michael Jackson officiating. The interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.

Lloyd was a native of Barton, AL, and a veteran of the Alabama National Guard. He was a retired industrial engineer from Reynolds Metal Company and a member of Highland Park Church of Christ. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father Nell Jackson; mother, Mabel Neely Jackson; brother, Bill Jackson; nephews, Larry and Barry Jackson; and sister-in-law, Jean Newton Jackson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Jean Jackson; stepdaughters, Cindi Landers (Johnny) and Valerie Thomas (Jay); sister, Diane Jackson; grandson, Jackson Thomas; step-grandchildren, Leigh Ellen Melson (Kyle), Wesley Landers (Jenni), William Landers (Samantha); 4 great-step-grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews who were very special to him.

Pallbearers are Gary Gandy, Jimmy Gillentine, Ed Homan, Pat Moon, Ronald Nesbit, Michael South, Alan Waycaster, Butch Whitehead, and Terry Williams.

The family expresses special thanks to Hospice of North Alabama.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or UAB O’Neal Comprehensive Center Fund for Excellence.
