Litter Prevention Contest Open To Area Schools

unnamedTHE SHOALS-Keep the Shoals Beautiful is pleased to announce the fifth annual litter prevention challenge to all schools (grades K-6) located within Colbert and Lauderdale counties. The goal of the Steve Trash Litter Prevention Champ Trophy is to inspire and promote clean campuses and recycling in the Shoals area. Schools are monitored and the cleanest school who also recycles is proclaimed as the Litter Prevention Champ.

The first place school for 2014-15 is Hibbett receiving:

• Steve Trash Litter Prevention Champ Trophy presented by internationally known Steve Trash
• 6’ traveling trophy will be displayed in the school for a year with a permanent engraving
• First Place Winner Plaque
• $150 CASH prize

In second place for 2014-15 is Legacy Christian School winning:ktsb featured

• Second Place Winner Plaque
• $100 CASH prize

The third place winner for 2014-15 is:

• Third Place Winner Plaque
• $ 50 CASH prize
