Lisa L. Purser McCleese, 44 passed away on November 20, 2023 at her residence in Russellville, Alabama.
Lisa was born June 19, 1979. She was a beloved wife and mother, mentor to all her honorary children at East Franklin Junior High School where she spent the majority of her time with special needs children which she loved and had so much patience with them. They all loved Mrs. Lisa, especially her sweet Cameron Davis. Once she would leave school and arrive home her beloved pet, Remington would be waiting on Mama to come in and get his petting and warm lap to set in. Adrianna said Remington was just another brother.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Brandon McCleese; daughter, Adrianna McCleese; son, Brandon “Hayden” McCleese.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Purser; and father, Jessie Purser.
Visitation will held at Akins Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, November 24, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral will be Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1 p.m. Burial is at Chestnut Ridge.
Pallbearers James Michael, Roy McCleese, Lane Yancy, William “Petie” Long, Justin McAfee, Austin McAfee, Isaac Cummings, with Canyon Davis being an honorary pallbearer.
Akins Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
