Funeral Services for Mrs. Lisa Farrow Bishop, age 55 of Cragford, will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Cragford Community Church with Bro. David Holcombe and Bro. Connor Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Bishop was born in Clay County and spent most of her life in this area. She earned her degree from Ayers State Technical College in cosmetology and enjoyed doing hair and make-up. Worked for several years for Dowdle Gas in Wedowee and nearly twenty years as a volunteer first responder and treasurer with the Clay County Rescue Squad, liked working outside with her flowers and all her animals. A true country girl at heart, but most importantly was family especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by her husband, Herbie Bishop of Cragford; three daughters, Emily Farrow Fullington (Andrew), Malya Faith Pitts, and Shelby Shay Wall all of Cragford; her son Matthew Lee Bishop (Tonya) of Munford; two grandchildren, Langlee Marie Bishop and Billie Jo Faith Fullington; a brother, James Edward Farrow (Daniel Boyd Atchison) of Birmingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward Farrow and Lannie Gay Farrow.
Pallbearers will be Joel Lamberth, Brian Andrews, Anthony White, Bradley Wilson, Billy Carr, John Oswalt, Kyle Brown and Davey Boyd.
Her visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to service time on Wednesday. She will lie in state at the church for one hour.
