Lion tracks spotted in Florence – SGA Paints Up Court Street

FLORENCE – Northbound Court Street was closed to traffic Sunday. Evidently some footprints from lions were spotted in the roadway. They were purple… About 4 feet across… Big footprints.

Actually they were quite nice. Some University of North Alabama’s Student Government Association were busily re-painting those big UNA symbols that have adorned Court Street for many years. The old paint was looking sort of grubby, and it was time for a bit of sprucing-up.
