Funeral service for Linus Earl Morgan, 83, will be Monday, July 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. James Burnham officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Morgan died on Friday, July 26, 2024 at his residence. He was born October 4, 1940, in Morgan County, to Roman Ezekiel Morgan and Tricie Nevada Brown Morgan, who preceded him in death.
He was employed by Cullman Products as a shipping clerk, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church since 1975 and was ordained as a Deacon on July 13, 1986. He spent 40 years, coaching and umpiring Little League baseball and softball in Eva. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
