In Loving Memory of Linley Chandler Howell
Linley Chandler Howell, born on August 12, 2001 passed away on October 28, 2023. She was the loving mother to Braylon Reid Burns, the beloved daughter of Coy Howell (Ashlee) and Britten McMullan (Billy), a cherished sister to Hogan and Hagen Howell and step sister to Ezekiel and Emma Rutherford. Linley was the granddaughter of Max and Terrye Howell, the late Harold and Gayle Behel, and the late BJ and Ron Pate. Step granddaughter to Jawanda and Roger Pearson, Bill and Sheila McMullan. Niece to Sue Young (Chet), Mannix Howell, Tammy Onofre (Eddie), Rusty Howell (Deb), Angie Hall (Paul), Matthew Johnson (Shelley), Meredith Pate, Robin Cury (Thiago) and the late Bradley Behel along with several cousins.
Linley touched the hearts of her family, friends, and coworkers with her warmth and kindness. Linley graduated from Brooks High School in 2019, and she dedicated her time to making a difference as she worked at Shoals Hospital.
While we mourn her untimely departure, let us remember Linley for the joy and love she brought into our lives. Mental health is a challenge that can affect anyone, and her memory reminds us to reach out, support one another, and seek help when needed.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Greenview Memorial Park and Funeral Home officiated by Brother Ronnie Jones. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 with a funeral service following directly after. Pallbearers will be Coy Howell, Billy McMullan, Hogan Howell, Ezekiel Rutherford, Matthew Johnson, Jason Taylor.
