Lindsey Nicole Morris Taylor passed away peacefully at her home on November 11, 2022. She was a resident of Lewisburg, Tennessee.
She was loved by many and a friend to all. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, wife, sister, and grandmother. She was one of a kind.
Lindsey was a proud independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay. She never met a stranger and she always greeted everyone with a smile and a hug. She had the most contagious laugh. Nights and days spent with Lindsey would always end up with laughing so hard you’d pee yourself. She always enjoyed cracking jokes. Her sense of humor was one of a kind. Her family shared many laughs with her. She lit up the whole room with kindness and joy.
You could rely on Lindsey for quite literally anything. She was a shoulder to cry on, a great listener and gave great advice. She was uplifting and always positive no matter the situation, which was something everyone admired.
She loved all of her animals; she enjoyed cooking for her family (she made the best chicken dressing). She was a big fan of the Tennessee Titans and before every game, she’d tell everyone to “Titan Up!”. Gardening came very naturally for her because she loved to take care of the things she loved, just like her family. She was also a true advocate for the Lord. Everyone that knew her knew that her faith in the Lord was strong. She loved going to church to serve the Lord, which was her favorite of all.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Taylor of 14 years; four beautiful children: Taylor (Elizabeth) Page, Laura (Seth) Elsbree, Amy (Tyler Woodard) Page, Annabella Beard; granddaughter: Laila Elsbree; father: Richard (Karen) Morris; mother: Annette Russell; mother-in-law: Alice (Danny) Petty; father-in-law: Tony Taylor; siblings: Richard Morris, Michelle (Kirby) Rooker, Michael Morris, and Robert (Kayla) Morris; grandmother: Lannie Brady; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lindsey is preceded in death by her grandparents: John and Ruby Russell.
The family will receive friends and family at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Jeanie Malone officiating. To follow, Lindsey will be laid to rest in the Garden of Peace at Polk Memorial Gardens.
