Funeral for Linda Sue Zanda, 77, of Opelika, Alabama, will be Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 2:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Gardens.
She passed away April 21, 2023. She loved to read and
sew. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Chuck) Zanda; her
daughter and son-in-law, Wendi and Ken Turner; and her grandson, Trent Zanda.
Linda Sue is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Carl Ray Ayers of
Lake Okeechobee, Florida, John Alton Ayers of Vero Beach, Florida, Janice Faye Petty of Cocoa Beach, Florida and Delilah Ayers Hewes of Foley, Alabama; four children, Lori Zanda Day of Opelika, Alabama, Charles Alton Zanda of Madison, Alabama, Brian Scott Zanda of Hartselle, Alabama and Jennifer Zanda Campbell of Meridian, Mississippi. She has 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
