Linda Sue Tolbert, 79, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Highlands in Fayette.Family will be receiving friends at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 1 until 2 p.m.. Service will follow at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Rice’s Cemetery.
Linda was born in Empire, AL on April 15, 1945. She moved to Hammond, IN and married Chauncey S Dickey, they had three girls together. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing and gardening in her younger years. Linda had many jobs through the years but raising her children was her most important one. Linda will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Kandalec; granddaughter, Veronica Vibanco; mother, Vivian B Campbell Scott; father, James P. Adams and a host of other family in Indiana.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Zonca (Greg); Mitzi Johnson (James); grandchildren, Timothy Vibanco (Beth), Michael Vibanco (Kristal), Christopher Johnson, Marcus Zonca (Chelsea); 8 great grandchildren; brother, Bernie Scott; sister, Carol Wallen and a host of other family members.
