Linda Sue Hambrick Carter, age 51 of Huntland, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. She was born in Tullahoma on April 12, 1972, to the late Melvin and Sue Smith Hambrick. A dedicated homemaker, Linda Sue was devoted to taking care of her beloved family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandson. She will be remembered for her big heart and beautiful smile and as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Linda Sue attended Christian Friendship Church in Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Buck and Dorothy Smith, and Virgil and Ethel Hambrick Sr; mother-in-law, Doris Cussins; and brother-in-law, Richie Carter. Linda Sue is survived by her loving husband of twenty-eight years, Michael Carter of Huntland; children, Krista Carter, Matthew Carter, and Michael Dakota Carter (Chloe Thorne); grandson, Rylan Carter; brother, Timmy Hambrick; father-in-law, Richard Carter; sister-in-law, Becky (Terry) Neeley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
