Linda Sue Chambers, 77 of Chelsea, formerly of Arab passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. She was born December 9, 1946, the daughter of Glen Stewart and Edna Irene Swords Stewart. She was a graduate of Arab High School, Class of 1965 and was retired from Wrangler. She was married to James Roy Chambers, who passed away December 7, 2012.
She is survived by her daughter: Kelly Chambers; granddaughter: Kaitlyn Perry; siblings: Peggy Glass, James Stewart (Faye), Charles “Bo” Stewart (Carrie), Larry Stewart (Penny) and Tommy Stewart (Nancy); sisters-in-law: Roxanne Stewart and Sue Wright; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Chambers; parents: Glen and Edna Stewart; siblings: W.O. Stewart, Jean Stewart and Rickey Stewart.
Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2024, at New Friendship Cemetery with Andy Kennedy officiating, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Pallbearers: Tommy Stewart, Larry Stewart, Jordan Stewart, Chad Ellis, Carson Ellis, Terry Ellis and Josh Peterson.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to make donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
