Linda Ruth Rigsby, age 83, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at her home. A private family only graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, June 29th in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Doug Thornton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10am until 12 noon Saturday at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield.
Mrs. Rigsby was born March 14, 1941 to the late James Allen Krisle and Harriet Elizabeth Draughon Krisle. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakland Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rigsby was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn Rigsby; a special nephew, Christopher Michael Roberts; and brothers, Jimmy Ray Krisle, and John Allen Krisle.
She is survived by a sister, Cheryl Ann Wolfenbarger of East Tennessee; daughters, Jennifer Leigh (Terry Lynn) Woodard of Springfield, Jo Ellen Rigsby of Springfield, and Lisa Michelle (Jeffrey Scott) Boyce of Springfield; granddaughter, Rachel Elizabeth Boyce of Hopkinsville, KY; grandson, Blake Scott Boyce of Springfield; and her cats, “Bitsy” and “Baby”.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
