Linda R. Steedman, 70, of Leighton, passed away, Monday, November 20, 2023. Visitation will be Saturday, November 25th, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel with Ted Vafeas officiating.
Linda worked as a claims associate for Walmart #660, Muscle Shoals. She was the sweetest, kindhearted, smart, loving, caring person people knew. Her memory will forever live on. “Go rest high on that mountain Linda. We will see you again one day!”
Linda is preceded by her mother, Ora Lee Payne; father, Ray Payne; and brother, Rocky Payne.
Linda is survived by her son, Cody Steedman and wife, Hannah; Cody’s father, William Robert Steedman; and cousin, Bill Mays.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jake Wilkinson, Chris Wilkinson, Lane Morgan, Zack Wallace, Stuart Allen, Tim Jasman, Howard Morgan, Ed Wellington, and Buddy Wellington.
