Linda Owens Reding age 66 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Reding was born January 20, 1950 in Limestone County, Alabama to William David Owens and Mary Jean Loggins Owens.
Services will be Saturday, January 21, 2017 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Tim Brister and Rick Cantrell officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Reding was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Butch Reding; mother, Jean Owens, father, Bill Owens; brother, David Owens.
Survived by two daughters, Kerrie Wales and husband, Jeremy of Athens and Dusti Brister and husband, Tim of Springhill, TN; five grandchildren, Delaney Wales, Logan Wales, Nolan Brister, Aiden Brister and Adelyn Brister.
Pallbearers will be Tim Brister, Logan Wales, Jeremy Wales, Nolan Brister, Aiden Brister, Ronnie Wales, Mike Ballenger and Jeff Grisham. Honorary pallbearer will be Kirk Harvey.
