Linda Nell Petty Russell, 64, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Linda was born on June 7, 1960, in Mississippi to Berlin Petty, Sr. and Nell Hamblin Tharp.
Survivors include her husband, Boyd Russell, her children, Michael Cooper, Daniel Russell (Karen), AJ Mann (Britney), Wesley Russell (Kayla), Angel Warren, and Colby Russell (Carol), 22 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her sister, Jamie Petty, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Berlin Petty, Jr., and her sister, Deloris “Jo” Cooper.
Service will be 3PM Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Russell Trimm officiating. Visitation will begin at 1PM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nick Cooper, Chris Cooper, Joseph Cooper, Seth Floyd, Harland Pittman, Robert Cooper, and Tristan Dickson.
