Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Mullinax Mitchell, age 54 of Lineville, will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow at the Lineville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at RMC Hospital in Anniston. She was born in Smyrna, Georgia but was a lifelong resident of Clay County. She attended Lineville High School and starting working at the Burger Quick at the age of 19, which began a 35 year career at the local Lineville Restaurant. Mrs. Mitchell worked the counter, took orders and helped customers faithfully for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling her granddaughter, and was a caring and loving Wife, Mother, grandmother, and sister.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband of 33 years, Steve Mitchell; her children, Steven Mitchell and Stephanie Mitchell; Granddaughter, Malorie Mitchell; and her sister, Rhonda Yates, all of Lineville; plus a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Eugene and Mary Winola Cofield Mullinax.
Active Pallbearers will be Russell Davis, Jay Willingham, Jerre Mitchell, Josh Horn, Dan Griffin, and Mark Ridley.
Her visitation will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 12:30 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
