Obituary of Linda MercerServices to Celebrate the Life of Linda Mercer, 71, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Hatchie Chapel Church. The family will gather at 4:00 PM and visitation for the public will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday evening at the church. Burial will follow in Hatchie Chapel Cemetery.

Linda passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Heath Center. She was born on January 22, 1951 in Arkansas to the late JC and Ruth Crum. She was a member of Hatchie Chapel Church. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and was a very loving person, who always loved being around the ones she loved. She also loved camping and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Melinda Mercer; brothers, Hershel Crum, David Crum, Jerry Crum, Dewayne Crum sister, Donna Crum and grandson Jesse Mercer.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gary Mercer; daughter, Kalyn Crum of Ripley; sons, Glen Crum (Lisa) of Corinth and Jason Mercer (Kimberly) of Walnut; grandchildren, Coltan Crowell (Jessica), Cacey Crowell (Cortney), Cara Williams (Malique), Nicholas Leal, Selena Leal (Cody Cooper), Kayla Crum, Kylan Crum (Michelle), Ryan Williford, Payton Mercer, Katie Mercer, Carson Mercer and Easton Mercer; ten-great-grandchildren; brothers, Luther Crum (Gracie) of Walnut, Ray Crum (Dawn) of Walnut, Kenny Crum (Ann) of Walnut, Gary Crum of Walnut, Junior Crum (Jan) of Walnut; sister, Vickie Bright of Walnut.

Pallbearers will be James Wilbanks, Tony Mercer, Kevin Crum, Dewayne Crum, Glen Mercer, Franky Crum, Bobby Bright, and Daniel Crum.
