Linda McConnell Faulk, 79, of Ardmore, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, September 30th, 2023, in her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 5th, 1944, to parents Sam Wright McConnell and Bessie South McConnell in Limestone County, Alabama. She was a faithful Christian and member of First Baptist Church of Ardmore. She was proud to have been a loyal employee at Fred’s for over 30 years. She loved the Lord, her family, church, and community.
Mrs. Faulk is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Wesley Faulk; son Barry Faulk (Natasha); daughter Phyllis Roberson (Randy); 3 granddaughters Kara Heer (Philipp), Anna Kelley (Michael), and Candace Hatchett (Clint); 2 grandsons Jesse Faulk (Kaitlyn) and Houston Vickers; 7 great-grandchildren Maggie, Sam, Emory, Ellis, Lucy, Oliver, and Hollis; and 3 sisters Robbie Hayes, Faye Eakes, and Carrie McConnell.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her 7 brothers Woodrow McConnell, James McConnell, Paul McConnell, Walter “Moe” McConnell, Ray McConnell, Larry McConnell, and Glen McConnell; and 4 sisters Willa Blankenship, Mary Shumate, Betty McCown, and Glenda McConnell.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, from 12 noon to 2 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, at 2 PM in the chapel of Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Barry Faulk and Brother Alan Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Gatlin Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
