Linda Marie Baker Brenner passed away, at the age of 77, on Saturday morning June 1, 2024 at her residence in Arab, Alabama. Linda was born in Blount County, AL on April 19, 1947 but was an Arab resident for the majority of her life. She was the daughter of Hubert Lee Baker and Mary Marvelene England Baker and was the widow of Edward Earl Brenner who passed away in 2005.
Linda enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her grand and great-grand children. She was a little mischievous and had a great sense of humor. She liked to dance and spent leisure time watching the older television shows. Beverly Hillbillies were her favorite.
Family members Linda has left behind to cherish their memories include: sons and daughter in law, Edwin Brenner and Jeff and Sharon Brenner; daughter and son in law, Sherry and Ronnie Bowers; brothers, Roger Baker and Michael Baker; sisters, Patsy Gibson, Cathy Cagle, and Gladys Holley; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding Linda in death includes: husband, Edward Brenner; parents, Hubert and Mary Baker; brothers, William Baker and Wendell Baker; sisters, Lovella Mason and Nell Bryan.
Services for Linda will be at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel in Arab, AL on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Family, friends and guest will gather for a farewell visitation from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:00. Brother Randy L. Blakely will be officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers and escorting Linda to her final resting place will be Michael Baker, Kenneth Baker, Shawn Baker, Lynn Green, Jeremy Green and Roger Baker.
