Linda Lou Dye, age 75 of Moore County, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 26, 1946 in Lynchburg to the late John Crawford and Maggie Pitts Rainey. Linda Lou was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed baking cookies and cakes as well as sewing. She was a dedicated member of Breath of Life Ministries in Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, J.E. Rainey. Linda Lou is survived by her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Alex Dye of Moore County; daughter, Cindy (Billy) Fields of Murfreesboro; son, Chris (Denise) Dye of Moore County; grandchildren, Kristen Dye, Maggie Fields, Emma Fields, Caroline Reed, and William Fields; and great-grandchildren, Adylen Childress, and Samuel Childress. Visitation will be from 12-2 pm on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Billy Fields and Bro.
