Linda Lee Presley Foster, age 83, of Summertown, TN passed away March 07, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Nashville, TN, a 1959 graduate of Madison High School, and a member of Summertown Baptist Church. She began her career in 1959 as a bank teller at First American National Bank and eventually retired as an Assistant Branch Manager for First Tennessee Bank of Nashville. She always loved working in her flower gardens and spending time with her animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Almon Lee and Mildred Meador Presley; one son, Stephen Lee Foster; one sister, Janith Presley McCullough; paternal grandparents, William L. and Rose P. Hawes Presley; and maternal grandparents, Ivy H. and Tabitha I. Gower Meador.
She is survived by her husband, William Albert Foster; one daughter, Cynthia Foster Bailey; three grandchildren, Bryan Hadley, Megan Foster, and Michael Bailey; one great-grandchild, Dylan Foster; one sister, Wanda Chamber (Jerry); one sister-in-law, Carolyn Foster; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Maury Regional Medical Center doctors, nurses, extended family, and loved ones.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at Pleasant Garden Cemetery at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2025, with Howard Kitter officiating.
