  Linda Kay Myers, 79, of Gurley, Alabama  passed away November 16, 2024 at 140 Laurel Lane, Gurley, Alabama. She was born on September 1, 1945  in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Gordon and Pauline  (Brady) Anderson.

Linda so enjoyed being surrounded by her large family.  Her relationship with the Lord was most important.  The 23rd Psalm was especially dear to her.  Linda also nightly played several of her favorite gospel songs including Amazing Grace, Beulah Land and I’ll Fly Away.

Linda is survived by her children Leonda (James) Guerin of Paint Rock, Alabama,  Tammy Smith of Gurley, Alabama, David (Victoria) Myers of Maysville, Angela Arencibia of Gurley, Alabama; grandchildren: Kimberly (Heath), Jessica (Kenny), Chasity (Shun), Jamie (Taylor), Lindsie, Amanda, Andrew (Ashly), Frankie (Bailey), Hunter (Megan), Bryan (Jayli), and Ethan; great grandchildren: Katilynn, Kylee, Hannah, Bentlee, McKenzie, Hayslee, Neveh, Kayden, Hagan, Leilani, Heaven, Ellie, Emilia, Sawyer with one on the way;  siblings: Gaylon Anderson and Wanda Nixon.

She was preceded in death by her husband David F. Myers Sr., grandson Weston Brown and sister Glenda Anderson.

The family will receive friends at Hazel Green Funeral Home  on November 20, 2024  from 11:00AM  –  1:00PM  Funeral services will be at 1:00PM  on November 20, 2024  at Hazel Green Funeral Home  with Sam Gulley officiating. Interment will be at Bevill’s Cemetery.
