Linda Kay Jones, 59 of Ardmore, AL died on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Plaza Medical Center.
Born Friday, November 16, 1956 in Pulaski, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late AC Stubblefield and Mary Jenkins Stubblefield. She was a member of New Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband: Marvin Jones, and a brother: Edward Owens.
Surviving are sons, Danny Ray (Gladys) Mitchell of Springtown, TX and Mark Mitchell of Huntsville, AL, mother: Mary Stubblefield of Elkton, TN, step-father: Burgess Cox of Elkton, TN, brother, Randy Stubblefield of Petersburg, TN, and grandchildren: Ezekiel Mitchell, Danny Mitchell, Jr., and Abigail Mitchell.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Larry White officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, Toney, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
