Linda Joyce Andrews Keeton, 76, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a member of Broadway Fellowship. Linda took every opportunity to witness to everyone she knew. She wanted everyone to be in heaven with her someday.
Visitation will be Monday, January 29, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Brother Jim Fiscus.
Linda was born August 8, 1947. She married the love of her life, Charles Keeton, on May 27, 1966. She attended Ray’s Beauty School and worked as a hairdresser for many years. She owned Linda’s House of Beauty in North Florence. When she was not working as a hairdresser, she was babysitting one of many children she loved over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lacy Andrews and Grace Long Andrews; her husband of 49 years, Charles Keeton; eight brothers, Theo, Billy, John, Jack, Charles, Bob, Kenneth, and Paul Andrews.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Amanda Keeton; granddaughter, Amaya Jones; sisters, Mary Hellums and Talma Hand; many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much and treated them like her babies until she became a mom herself; and her very best friends, Bill and Mary Lou Butler.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kristen Reed of North Alabama Surgery and the staff of North Alabama Medical Center ICU and Step-down unit for taking such good care of Linda in her last days.
Pallbearers will be Zay Jones, Mark Butler, Todd Keeton, Jonathon Keeton, Isaac Carter, Jr., and Tim Woods.
