A Celebration of Life service for Linda Jo Moore, 81 of Corinth, Ms, will be Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel on Hwy 45 South with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Bro. Mickey Trammel will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 12:30 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. MS Moore passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at MS Care Center. She was born July 14, 1943 in Kossuth, MS to Wesley Moore and Beatrice Lancaster Moore. She was a member of Tate Baptist Church and a school teacher for 20+ years in the Alcorn County School System. She enjoyed teaching and all things associated with that profession. She especially loved keeping up with her former students. She enjoyed genealogy, bragging about her nephew and she loved her sister very much. Linda Jo is survived by her sister, Sybil W. Tolleson; her brother-in-law, Jesse Dwight Tolleson; her nephew, Jesse “Jay” Dwight Tolleson, Jr. and wife Lauren and their children, Clark Tolleson and Rachel Tolleson; her double 1st cousin, Charles E. Moore and wife Willa; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Moore and her mother, Beatrice Lancaster Moore. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Linda Jo Moore.
