Funeral service for Linda Jean Thompson, 74, of Hanceville will be at 12 noon, Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-12 at the funeral home.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Thompson passed away Saturday, December 12th, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born November 2, 1946 to Asa Martin & Ruby Jewel Gardner Smith. She worked at Burns Florist for years. She was a lovely person and wanted to take care of everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and six brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Arville “Shorty” Thompson; one son, Timothy ‘Tim” (Bridgett) Freeman; stepsons, Ricky Thompson, Ronnie (Janet) Thompson, Jim (Kelly) Thompson, Shane Thompson; step-daughter, Robbie (Jeff)Thomson; grandchildren, Zac (Savanna) Freeman, Cassie Freeman, Justin Nichols; step-grandchildren; great grandchild, Danny Freeman; two step-great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Schwaiger of Cullman, Alice Jewel (Morris) Linton of Waycross Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
