Linda J. McBroom, 70, of Ripley passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at her residence. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Friday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday at Asbury United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with interment to follow in Asbury Cemetery.
Mrs. McBroom was a retired respiratory therapist at Lauderdale Community Hospital.
The wife of Howard McBroom, she is survived by 3 daughters Tina (Jeff) Hogue of Halls, Kelli Scallions of Gates, and Lindsay Benson of Ripley; a son Larry Escue Jr. (Molly) of Halls; her mother Jeanne Lightfoot Williams of Ripley; a sister Janet Rasp of Ripley; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father James T. Williams and a grandchild Casey Lynn Hogue.
