Linda J. Lipscomb Paulsen, age 67, of Attalla, AL passed away April 1, 2023. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mark Gidley officiating. She will be laid to rest of Union #3 Cemetery, Ball Play.
Collier-Butler Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Paulsen was born and raised in Ball Play. She was an animal lover for both cats and dogs. Her favorite pastime was going out to eat with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Paulsen; parents, Hettie and Leslie Lipscomb; brother, Terry Lipscomb and sisters-in-law, Sherry and Debbie Lipscomb and her beloved dog, Frankie.
Survivors are her son, Charles “Charlie” Owens, Jr.; grandchildren, Grace Powell and Chance Owens; brother, Billy Lipscomb; several nieces and nephews and numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Danny Waldrop.
Pallbearers will be Ray Masters, Bobby Lipscomb, Jonathan Owens, Miguel Hernandez and Danny Waldrop.
The family extends special thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff with Amedysis Hospice and the nurses and staff of the ICU at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 PM until the hour of service at 2:00 PM.
