A funeral service for Linda Greer will be Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 11:00AM at Peck funeral home with Bobby Elrod and Jeremy Stanford officiating and Peck funeral home directing. Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the funeral home and burial will be at Red Oak cemetery. Linda was born on April 25, 1941 to William and Daisy Taylor. She died on November 22, 2024 at Clay County hospital.
Linda Greer was kind, sincere, brave, hardworking, honest, and always held her arms out for a hug. She was a great cook and loved to cook for everyone. She made the best peanut butter cookies. She didn’t mind tackling any job even if it seemed impossible for her to do. She loved animals, especially Lucky. She loved to travel. Jerry and Linda traveled to all the states, and she had a coffee mug to prove it. She will always be the domino champion with a competitive spirit to win. She had a givers heart, if you went to her house and wanted something, it was yours. Linda was a precious lady who was loved by everyone she met. The most important thing about Linda is that she loved the lord, her son, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Greer, Brothers Robert Taylor, Lewis Taylor, Donny Taylor and Jake Taylor, Sister Sarah Taylor and her parents.
Survivors Include:
Son: Richard Curvin (Donna)
Four sisters: Brenda Taylor, Mary Elrod, Seeyilla Cloer, and Betty Kanaday.
Four grandchildren: Chrissy Mitchell (Jason), Amber Tucker (Scott), Andrea Davis (Derak) and Caitlin Stanford (Jeremy).
Seven great grandchildren: Corey Mitchell, Carolyn Mithell, Chandler Mitchell, Mollie Tucker, Slade Tucker, Asher Davis and Hudson Stanford.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Elrod, Timothy Elrod, Tyler Elrod, Tommy Mullett, Jacob Mullett, and Larry Fielder.
Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Mitchell and Hudson Stanford.
